The Barker Fire Department is online

Here you will be able to view the latest news of the department and
check out the equipment.
The annual Field Days will be held Friday,
June 3rd through June 5th. The Barker Fire Department is raffling
off a Harley Davidson FXSTBI Night Train on June 5, 2005 during the
Fireman Field Days. The price of each ticket is $20. and gives you
a chance for the grand prize of the '05 Harley. There are cash
prizes as well, with 2 - $250. winners and 10 - $50. winners.
There will be rides, games and refreshments, along with fireworks on
Friday and Saturday evenings. Bring your family down for a weekend
of enjoyment!
All firefighters urge everyone to check
your batteries and test your smoke detectors regularly, because one day
they just may save your life. Teach your young ones not to play
with matches or household chemicals, because prevention starts 3with the
understanding in what damage they can co.
If your child, or maybe you, have any
questions about firefighting, please feel free to come to the fire hall
on one of our drill nights every Thursday at 7:00 PM.
